Got up this morning to go down to the Alameda shoreline, but it was still closed due to a semi recent oil spill. Headed over to a nearby slough were I was able to find an egret fishing a tidal spillway.
Met the morning sunrise once again at the MLK shoreline park, this time at one of the sloughs. Testing a new lens with a different camera body to increase the zoom factor.
Woke up to a foggy morning and decided to check out the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline in Oakland. Lots of birds and a high tide due to the full moon. The fog provided a mask to the urban background and help to provide a more natural setting.
